HOW WE STARTED
Hello Peeps! We took a month off social media in search of refreshment, realignment and refocus on what TinyBitz really represents. Social media detox is hard to achieve in this digital age, the need to ‘share’ as much as the need to be ‘liked’ slowly brewed into a mini pot of social pressure. We believe we share with many other brands the struggle of constantly (and consistently) carving out time for social media, while secretly aspiring to those who has the perfectly coordinated boards and nicely curated shots.
The social-free month made us realised it’s as simple as staying true to ourself and focus on what the brand stands for. It’s about sharing the real emotions, the things that inspire us, the products that we are proud of and moments that make us happy! So to celebrate this digital milestone of realisation, let’s take this opportunity to tell you how TinyBitz came about.
It was because of... our nieces 👧🏻👧🏻!! The joy of becoming a first-time Aunt is one of a kind, particularly when you don’t have children of your own yet. We started shopping for the baby girls and anything in size 0 just looked so much cuter! We were looking for something simple, yet different from what the mass market had to offer and we realised many other Aunts and Uncles felt the same. So after over a year of research, planning, sourcing, design and more research, TinyBitz was officially born in 2013, signifying two Aunts’ love for their little nieces.
